At the beginning of 2014, the new exhibition hall 3A in Nuremberg was completed after a total construction period of just 18 months, increasing the floor size of the exhibition centre to 170,000 m2. The 9,000 m2 hall, which is flooded with light, combines architectural excellence with energy efficiency and is the latest flagship of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. FIRETEX® Platinum provides fire protection for the steel structure in the interior, with a coating area of 730 m². Through the goal-oriented and systematic accounting for new energy standards and the consequent concentration on sustainability in planning, construction and operation, Hall 3A was the first German trade fair hall to be awarded the DGNB Gold Certificate according to the standards of the German Sustainable Building Council.
